Meet Our Owner, Peter Adams
I am originally from International Falls, Minnesota.
I served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps, deploying on Marine Expeditionary Units (MEUs) in support of the early stages of the Iraq War.
After serving as a Marine, I continued supporting the military community as a Department of Defense (DOD) contractor based in Germany for over 13 years. I managed large projects and teams across Europe, the Middle East, Northern Africa, Asia, and Central America, gaining extensive experience with federal contracts and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). This included mission planning, budgeting, and deploying teams to support US Army and foreign military projects.
With a background in aviation, I have always prioritized quality. Now, as the owner of a custom cabinet, countertop, and architectural millwork company, I remain committed to the highest standards—manufacturing high-quality products and delivering them with the respect and integrity our customers deserve.

About James Evans, Production Control Manager
I am the primary point of contact for all projects being performed by VHC Wood Products.
I am an experienced cabinetry professional who has worked in multiple cabinet shops. I’m also a skilled CAD Programmer who has the know-how to integrate our operations with the customers’ requirements.
I am originally from Oak Grove, Minnesota. I love to spend time with my wife and two children, who are 6 and 7 years old. I also enjoy ice fishing and hunting.
